Kotv story on DTV

Okay first it was the box you had to buy for your old TV to get the new signal.. now whats this about a small/medium/large antenna pointed to a certain degree depending on your location? I wondered why people were getting so confused on this issue. I have set up two converter boxes for my grandparents and everything worked just fine.. Not sure where this whole new antenna thing came from. Thank goodness for my DISH satellite TV so I don't have to deal with this! Give me compressed signal over DTV any day!

Angie's dad got one of the new antennas and he's recieving like thirty channels. I know some of those used to be available only on cable but he gets them for free now.

Yeah I was really impressed when I installed those two converter boxes. They just had regular antennas but they tripled their channels. And what surprised me was the on screen program guide like you would see on cable or satellite. You could only view it for the channel you were on but still.. big convenience compared to the old.
